Privacy policy
This policy covers the personal Codex Search Console MCP desktop integration described on its app page, not other 4A Creations services.
Google data accessed
With your consent, the integration requests the Google Search Console read/write scope. Depending on the tools you invoke and the properties your Google account can access, it can retrieve property details, search analytics, URL inspection and indexing results, and sitemap information. It can also submit or delete sitemaps and add or remove properties when you specifically authorize those actions in Codex.
How data is used and shared
The local MCP server uses your authorization to fulfill your requested Search Console tool calls. Tool results enter your Codex task so Codex can analyze and respond to you; that processing is governed by your Codex account settings and OpenAI's applicable policies. The integration does not send your Search Console data or OAuth tokens to this website or to 4A Creations, and does not sell or use that data for advertising. It does not monitor properties in the background on its own.
Storage and retention
The downloaded OAuth client configuration and authorization token are kept in a private directory on your computer until you remove them. Search Console tool responses may appear in your Codex task history under your account's retention settings. The public pages here do not collect Search Console data. As with any website visit, Cloudflare may process network requests needed to serve these pages; these pages do not embed analytics scripts.
Your choices
You can stop using the MCP server, delete its local tokens, and revoke the app's access in your Google Account's third-party connections. Removing a Codex task or changing its retention is controlled through your Codex account. For questions about this integration, contact info@4acreations.com.
Use of information received through Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
